@RichieJA on a Ph2 it connects in a different place, closer to the coilpack iirc. I would say it needs to be connected or a filter added and blocked off at the other end purely because its allowing unfiltered and unmetered air into the engine, which is never a good thing.

I have powerflex on mine, seem fine, the only thing was I had 2 different sized bolts which Powerflex did rectify in the end.

I would bolt the rack to the subframe, jack the subframe up, do the front two bolts, then jack the rear up and make sure the pinch bolt is in alignment, then once the subframes on and bolted up, do the pinch bolt. I wouldnt put the strain on the column, Ive heard it can damage it.

Thanks for the reply. It is a pre-wax cleanser but it says its a 'glazed based abrasive'? Is there anything more mild I can use, or is there any point after a decontamination? Im also hoping that if I use b&t remover and iron X I wont need to clay?

Waste of money. Pull all of the hoses off, bin the valve, put a cap on the inlet where the vacuum hose goes to.

Thanks. Id prefer to do it there purely because it looks neater and is out the way! As mine has abs my options are limited until further down the bulkhead and then im worried about corrosion!

@GrahamS did you have to remove the dashboard to get the longacre battery connector through? I had the top off today and looks like i have to remove the whole dash!
