Jesus, that is horrendous. 182 Decat/Cat swaps are really a DIY job, use high temp black silicone (sensor safe stuff) as it remains flexible unlike the putty crap.

I think its the fact that the sills are rivetted on, combined with the bendy jacking points preventing adequate drainage means water is held for a long time. I need mine repairing really, they have been plated but the rot is still coming through.

My ph2 is the same as this as @Coops Turbo can attest to, I had the same 'just needs kurust' and when I got the grinder out holes started to appear!

Cat will definately need dropping. Make sure the circlip is in tight (use a socket and a jack to pop push it in), I found it best setting up in 4th with someone holding it in gear in the car and then selecting 4th on the box.

That conductive bonnet prop is a recipe for disaster with those naked batt terminals haha. Looks good though, loved my BG 182. Any reason you didnt ditch the aircon?

Only if the airbag lights on as well iirc? I have this same issue and believe it is down to the steering angle sensor needing recalibration. The ABS light isnt on.

Absolutely love this car. How have you wired up the Dash2 out of interest? Patched into the standard loom? Or does it run off OBD?
