    Clock/temp display question

I've done a search but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. Yesterday I fitted an alpine head unit into the Clio, so obviously I've lost the use of the stalk and display. I'm not bothered at all about this and I'm not looking to buy anything to retain the use of the stalk. However, I...

    who's at the nurburgring?

You can do it on less than 500 easy if there are two of ya and sharing costs. I've flown to Germany, hired a car from the airport, drove to adenau, stayed in decent accommodation, hired a track car for 4 laps, flown from Germany to Ibiza for four nights, then flown home, and spent about a grand

What have you done to your car today ???

Yeah all cables are under the trim now mate. I've cheated slightly with the power cable though. It goes to a spare slot in the fuse box in the dash. Will run a proper cable to the battery when I swap the amp for a more powerful 4 channel one. I want a small sub running too. Take it that's a...

What have you done to your car today ???

I know mate its awful. The rest of the car is just as bad. The previous owner had it for ten years, and it must of been parked in a field for the last 5 years of their ownership lol. There's all green moss in the boot shut, and its covered in weird black spots all over that nothing chemical wise...

What have you done to your car today ???

Fitted my alpine head unit. Removed passenger seat to remove the standard disc changer, and fitted a 2 channel amp in its place to power the front kicker impulse speakers. Had to clean that mess up first though! Fitted my mats. Fitted a "ktec style" filter. Sounds fuckin nuts lol The whole...

    Misfire

I'll have a look into it later, and see if Dan (or anyone else) would be kind enough to correct the misleading parts

    Misfire

Because the tension needs to be evened out across the whole length of the belt. Otherwise, the only bit you have tensioned is the bit of belt between the tensioner and the cam. If the cams aren't locked then as the tension evens out, they drift out of time. Someone else might be able to explain...

If he didn't rotate the belt round a few times to even out the tension across the belt, then it'll probably be the timing

Did you then set the tensioner, and spin the belt round a few times with the cams still locked, but the pulleys loose?
  26. Ol’ Tarby

    Misfire

So did you not loosen the pulleys off at all?
