I find sport a bit useless and drive in race 90% of the time and normal 10% of the time.
reason being if I want to just cruise about in auto then normal mode is just fine, if I want full control over the gearbox and the fastest changes and best noises then race is perfect, sport sits oddly in...
went back to the scrappies today and got the matching doorcards for the dash strips and some chrome dynamique interior handles, just waiting on dave getting back to me about the RS seats and ill pick them up too!
lambda after cat wont affect running just give you a warning light as far as I know it will be the pre cat one if its a lambda causing the issue which would be my next port of call since you have done the coils (common on this engine) and the plugs since it hasn't been serviced
Got a new Pioneer Bluetooth head unit at black Friday for it for £50 from halfords, wired in the mic up on the pillar at the sun visor where its out the road. Bluetooth calling is better in the van than it is in the 220 trophy now!!
also had to go to the scrappies for 2x new front speakers as...
I thought about a remap but a bit worried about the temperatures, mine gets HOT in the summer I can only imagine what it would be like with more boost and an intercooler blocking the radiator!
financial suicide, which is what generally makes it a fun thing to do lol!!
say you spend £20k and in 5 years its worth £7k, your not really any worse off than if you bought a brand new car which makes it seem a little less daunting
HOWEVER, these projects 60-70% of the time get abandoned half...
at least half of my clios have all had faulty door or boot switches so if you unlock it, open boot or a door it will auto lock 30 seconds later and when you close the boot lock it lol, pull the door from the top its flimsy enough to get a long wire in to press the unlock button on the dash or...
Fair play! We use 1.2 16v Dynamiques, about to move over to 0.9 TCE's since the 1.2 has now been discontinued.
be interesting to see how the clutch packs gets on as the miles gets up, we change the cars at about 140k/3yrs usually just as they are starting to need a clutch
i was originally looking for non RS seats as they are cheap cheap cheap but id take 172/182 ones if there going cheap!! PM me a price and ill see if I can justify them ?
nothing much new happened, took her for an MOT to see what needed done next and it sailed through with not a single advisory! so now on the lookout for a nice set of 15" wheels for it, it needs new dampers at the front as they are past it so need to work out if i want to just put a standard pair...
got the front end all rebuilt back together with the new lower arms, balljoints, track rod ends, wheel bearings, top mounts, bushes etc and that got it driving sweet, the front dampers are goosed, one is seized solid the other is soft as my first shite. having a think about what to replace them...
good base to start with, are you from Edinburgh or is that just where the car came from?
engine wise, they are a fantastic little engine if you don't mess with them too much lol! For a DCi65 my recomendation would be a set of DCi 80/100 injectors (they are the same part for the 80/100), an...
Pricing seems all over the place with them saw a second hand good condition one for £30 last month kicking myself for not picking it up. Finding good condition 100 ones are getting hard to find although I notice the campus dci70 used the same intercooler!
