Nothing announced about what rubber it's on, I would be surprised if its not a new tyre or special sticky compound for it seeing as the last two R have been on track biased rubber, and I can't see a road tyre achieving the lateral grip in the lap

Definitely on a sticky Bridgestone tyre, the G it pulls though some corners are way up there with serious rubber

Had a V2 for years and years, Open face so nice and comfy and handy for when yoh have passengers. Bought a Bell GP3 to replace it as I needed HANS, totally different budget but miles apart in terms of quality and comfort

I'd be wary about booking a TD in October for your first time, risky weather wise

Still hard to find the important cover you want even on a TD though, ie third party. Although armco cover is nice as is the free recovery

Silver is probably my favourite MK3 colour, really shows the lines off well, normally hate silver cars but it works well on the Meg
