Water can be a b4stard to trace . Could be what Martin says , rear wash wipe . Could be a leaking rear window or the black grommets on inside the tailgate when you lift the hatch .Also check under the rear seats , water can find its way under there as well . I had the same problem on my 172 and...
If the paints not matching its not matching , simple as . Lacquering won't change the shade it will only give a gloss finish . I'd get back on to autopaint if i were you .
I used autopaint years ago on my Pug 306 and the match wasn't that good either . I use a local motor spares place now and...
Both look pretty good together in liquid yellow even though i'm not a massive fan of the new shape , but 18.5k for a clio  , plus it needs silvervisions ;)
I use wd40 all the time on my black plastic bits , works as good as anything else i've ever tried . Most products just mask the white marks not actually remove them .
Maybe since having your new discs fitted the abs sensor has been knocked . They are suppose to have a specific clearance between the sensor and reluctor ring . I'd check that if i were you , maybe just pull out the sensor and give it a clean . See if that makes any difference .
Had my mk2 ph 2 172 for just over 4 years 48k when sold on the clock and no major problems . Waited for the mk 3 to come out and didn't like the shape so i got a new 182 in Feb 06 . I'll most likely keep it until it's time for the cambelt change and then consider my options .
My 172 failed its 2nd MOT on a seized front brake caliper , brake imbalance they call it . Total b*llocks . There was fcuk all wrong with the brakes . They also gave me a list of things that needed doing that came to the grand total of £484 . Rip off merchants imo .
That was at Nationwide...
I don't think they aren't that accurate tbh . Try the little trick with the button on the end of the stalk , check how much fuel you have left then go and fill up and check again . I've done it loads of times were i've checked how much was in the tank before filling up , filled up and then added...
Probably just back to the good lacquer where its not peeeling . I'd take it to a small back street bodyshop and see what they say . It probably won't cost that much .
Well its only about a fiver to get each wheel balanced , so i'd go down that route first personally . Always start with the more obvious and cheapest option imo .Process of eliminination and all that ;)
Look good mate .They've come up really well now they've been cleaned . Why people can't be arsed to clean them before they put them up for sale is beyond me . They did look a bit worse for wear when they were advertised on ebay . I bet they would have gone for more money if they had just taken a...
Could be the discs thowing out the balance . I'd get my wheels checked for balance like i said . Or try moving the discs round 180 degrees , see if that helps .Sometimes when you fit new discs the don't always run true .
Well he does state " example photos " , but on the other hand it does say its a Pioneer and nowhere does it state its the american version .
I'm a bit baffled as well , as 172.com says , radio waves are radio waves . If it's definitely not working report it to ebay , thats all you can do...
Quinn direct told me they don't insure 1*2's anymore .
Two people could have indentical details , age , years driving , ncb etc .... one in a good post code one in a bad post code and the quotes will vary massively .
