I prefer the german applicators or sonus applicators over the little yellow foam pads . You can work the polish harder and they are easier to hold than the little yellow foam pads .

When i bought my 182 from new i had top it up a few times in the first couple of months , changed the oil for silkolene at 4k and never needed to bother since . So i'm happy with the silkolene .
Each to their own i guess :)
The clio badge clips into 2 holes . The Renault and sport badge are stuck on with double sided sticky foam .
You can't buy the anthracite paint in aerosols . The nearest match i found was rover storm grey . But i remember Fred saying Audi nimbus grey is a good match .
The part number is the same for both sides 8200072241 . The only differentiating marks are a capital D and the word " plan " on the drivers side badge . On the passenger side badge it has a capital G .
I'm assuming that G = Gauche ( left in French ) and that D = droite ( right in French )
Blue bulbs are illegal mate . What bulbs are you after exactly ? Leds look good in the sidelights .

Pretty common problem the clips snapping on the gaitor . Both mine snapped on my 172 . When i bought my 182 as soon as i got it home i put 10mm cable ties over the clips to hopefully stop it happening again .
Silkolene Pro S 5w-40 for me as well in my 182 , not cheap but supposedly one of the best . I always used Comma Syner-G 5w-40 fully synthetic in my 172 , its only about £28 for 5 litres whereas the silkolene is around £50 , but i got mine cheap from http://www.opieoils.co.uk when there was a...
I've been with flux for years . Never had a problem when i had a claim for a minor disagreement with a motorway crash barrier 2.5k's worth of damage and it was sorted straight away .
Tbh i'd stick with the srp and egp combo . Use a german applicator for the srp or a sonus applicator , it gives a slight cut to the paint , better than just using a normal applicator imo .

How do you go about that then , if you don't know who he's insured with ?
What kind of thing ? A so called mate forcing you into the kerb . Legal cover is for if you end up in court for a serious matter .It will pay your defences bill .
Well as long as the other guy is definitely willing to say it was 100% the other guys fault then i'd give your insurance company a call and explain to them what happened and take their advice on how to proceed .
Oh and if you do decide to use the brake fluid method , do it late at night when...
Tbh mate . I'm not sure how you would claim now after the incident happened 4 weeks ago . It would be a case of your word against his and of course the witness in your car , yours and his mate , who might not want to get involved . It sounds like you've been very reasonable with him .After all ...
