    Afaik , the manifolds are the same on the mk2 172's and the 182's . Its the plenums that are different and are not interchangeable .

    Rubbish . Imports as in European spec imports cost exactly the same as UK cars to insure . I'm on my second import . I think your getting confused with grey imports such as from Japan where the specs are different i.e. usually not undersealed and no rear foglights as in the Eunos roadsters .

    The black plastic bit as you call it is part of the repaeater lens . It looks like its plastic welded on . When i changed mine you took " all " of the side repeater off and the replacement repeaters had the bit on the back you call the " black plastic bit " . Don't know what side repeaters...

    ^^^ Not necessarily . I have an enclosed IK and use the original feeds , or some people feed the cold air feed to front grill or foglight .

    He only wants to remove the airbox . No need to touch the vacuum pipe to the acoustic valve , thats a separate thing altogether .
