yeah mate definitely it owes me hardly anything too!!
the springs are -60mm lower with dampers to match! ive had the springs just on their own on a dci 65 and it was horrible but with matching dampers they are stiff but handles really well
Cheers Chief!
Bit of a running joke with John at Progrip as every time I take a Renault in somthings not quite right with it, my 200 was obviously bent in every area it could be, my flamer had a bent hub, my ph1 had a bent lower arm, my twingo had a bent rear beam (2yrs old, mint with 20k on...
apparently enables VVT from cold too im sure rather than the standard map where its only activated over a certain coolant temp. which is what makes it smooth to drive from cold.
im sure I remember henk saying that on here a while back
agreed with the above tbh, not very cumfy, sit too high, look the part though and don't seem to be wearing too badly! I sit much lower and twice as comfortable in my dci!
I don't do many miles so the mpg isn't an issue for me, and being 25 with 9yrs ncb insurance isn't an issue for me however my trophy stays in my heated garage and only comes out in the dry, is immaculate and low miles so I could never take it to work with me (im a store manager with a...
Depends on what your looking for i paod a grand for mine and its worth its weight in gold to me, its rough with 150k miles it never lets me down and i dump it in dodgey places or busy carparks withoit worrying!
Decat pipe along with your current full exhaust system is about as close as you will get to a pop and banging exhaust if its a 1.4 16v (k4j i think) speak to fastchip about an rstuner map with pops
Rs tuner remap sorts the lumpy idle and kangarooing when cold as well as giving you a lot more pull mid range.
Headlight lenzes can be purchased from renault but not cheap id imagine! Replace the cracked one from ebay and get the 3m headlight restoring kit to bring them up like new, just...
to be honest mate TCE Twingos may be cheap to run from a servicing/tyres/insurance point of view but fuel consumption isn't brilliant, standard or modified mine mostly done low 30's mpg, although I never really hang about that was mostly using the torque, maby if you drive it off boost it will...
one would suit me perfect I recon as a quick daily driver as I only use the trophy a few days a month but im just not willing to part with the cash they are asking for one
it says 6 months is £0 because you cant tax it for 6 months, my DCI is the same its £20 for 12 months.
LOL at going raj because your tax is £20, I genuinely ENJOY paying my £20 a year as it makes me happy knowing that's all it costs haha!
I would avoid ktec like the plague for mapping.
they map them on standard injectors, paul at RS Tuning showed me my standard map one on standard injectors hitting 100% duty cycle!! imagine how lean that could run when mapped!! no wonder RSTuning wont tuch them without changing injectors.
you...
when you lift off the throttle they let out a horrible deep hum, yet on throttle they make no extra noise lol!! we tested it with a Halfords mushroom on my dci 100 for a laugh
my 172 and 182s never really got that much attention the 200 on the other hand used to sit outside my house and id watch people walking past taking pics of it as if it was some sort of Ferrari lol
haha totally!
all my mates have bought karts, only one without one now, missing out haha built a ropey trailor my mate tows with my old 172 now for them!
I just stick a patern part oil filter and fuel filter on it from a motor factors.
5w40 fully synthetic is what you want
I use this as its cheap and what Renault recommend...
I gave mine the full works 6 months ago, it consisted of...
Oil
Oil filter
Air filter
Cabin filter
Fuel filter (beside the battery, easy to do)
pop the EGR valve off and clean it out, including the intake pipe (I then left mine unplugged so it stays closed
