Actually don't know how much mine is lowered @Cub. :D I'm running 17"s though I would say a 40mm drop would be best if you still want it to be city friendly. Apparently the standard suspension will take that too (I went with coilovers though to achieve the handling I wanted)

Yeah, I've noticed more dark below stuff now on bounties, etc. I hit level 30 last night too.

That's what happened with the lady in the passat, to the point smoke was coming out the back at a fair rate!

Couple of people here complained of it too - 1 was a passat, and the other a Citreon people carrier. Mine were a bit sticky this morning, but it soon came off when I started to pull away.

Not sure how different it is to a non sport but mine is a piece of piss, albeit time consuming. Jack up front end, take front wheels and arch liners off. Bolts inside wheel arches and those plastic push-pins under the front of the bonnet. A good tug and it's off.

Shouldn't be a dpf on a 2007 model. It was only introduced on later models from what I gather.
