Hard to say if its a good car from just a description . The mileage shouldn't be a problem but i would still look around for one with lower mileage myself ...
You won't have any problem insuring it if it is an import , its the same car as the UK spec cars with the exception of having no alarm , no locking wheel nuts and no etched windows .
Its only when a car is a grey or parallel import when the insurance might cost a bit more as they are not UK...

The plugs and cambelt are due to be changed at 72k and it costs big bucks for the belt , i'd at least get the cambelt done asap .

^^^ I think the yellow stuff pads are more of a full blown race pad , maybe you could try the redstuff pads .

Your right Rich , they do absorb / waste slighly more product , but i think its only minimal . I find they are easier to hold than the yellow megs applicators . Nothing wrong with the yellow ones imo but its down to personal preference . On the plus side i think you can apply the product quicker...
Last thing i bought was a gallon size of extreme body wash n wax shampoo , still the best shampoo in my opinion and 32oz quick detailer .

Down behind the headlight is a small white plastic screw with an allen screw head . Afaik thats how you adjust it . I've seen it mentioned before , if you do a search you might find out some more info .
