I won't be buying winter tyres as for me there is no benefit. If it's cold and wet I drive slower and if it snows I work from home. I'm not going to drive in the snow when there's a risk of being caught up in someone elses accident.

If the cat is leaking before the first lambda it will think its running lean and chuck more fuel in to compensate. You should really fix the leaks regardless though.
