Ok I'll let him know glow plugs shouldn't stop it starting. He said it does start just usually takes him 5 minutes of trying. Also once it's started if you turn it off it'll start straight away but it won't if you leave it a few hours.

Post a picture of the gasket. It's metal so shouldn't need changing unless it looks damaged. Don't attempt to change the cambelt yourself as you need special tools. Take it to Fred at BTM who is in Birmingham. And it's right not write.

My friend has a 2002 Megane 1.9 DCI which the glow plugs are not turning on unless he tries the ignition 10 or 20 times. He has tried changing the glow plugs, preheating module, and coolant temp sensor but while it's improved it's not fixed. Does anyone know which of the relays is for the 70amp...
