oil and filter changed today, got Millers 5w40 CFS for £40 inc vat at my local motor factors which i thought was awesome! plus a fiver for filter and sump washer.

i spent thousands on my 1.2 16v before swapping it after 12 months for a 172 which i then spent more thousands on. I dont regret spending money on any of them was all fun

dont think brembos will make a return even in special edition models, too much hastle with them and sticking pins/pads, nothing wrong with standard single piston brakes if they use resonable sized discs and a good pad/disc combo

also forgot to mention for me an RS tuner remap transforms the car mid range, best mod i done bar a 182 manifold and decat

they handle and feel much more responsive mid cornering on 15's even my 1.2 16v's i used to run turinis on the road and had 15s for track and going a blast

remap is about your lot as far as performance goes on it, probably gain 20-30hp and similar torque however you would be better just changing for another daily!

i use AG spray because im lazy, every time 3 for 2 is on at halfords i buy 12 bottles lol!

I Agree with Sam, they are much better half way thru their life!, i always ran them on my DCi100 as they were a decent cheap performance tyre, fitted some to my PH1 172 to get it thru an mot and they wern't a patch on PE2's but they were also not far off a quarter of the price!

stripes look ok on it and the ones up the side, as you said though remove the sport badges and try and tidy up that exhaust! LOL @ 4k kick though!

personally first what id do (after spending a fortune on both my 172's) is new genuine dampers all round and eibach sportline springs, then new genuine track rods, track rod ends and you could go as far as i did with new bottom arms which include new bushes and ball joints but that was just me...

never kept mine long enough to try it in the snow my GT DCi was awesome though!!!

removed the twingo badge and fitted some phillips blue vision ultra bright 501 sidelights today, no pics of the sidelights yet ill get some tonight! (im not into LED sidelights thats why i went for these for just a bit cleaner and brighter look than OEM) Uploaded with ImageShack.us

red doesnt look to bad on the white car, id have gone black for the drums though, doing my twingo ones today! (first time ive owned drums since 2005 but they need doing lol!)
