I have metal bungs that fit the 172 CC pipe perfectly for that reason. My Monaco is running no cc actually thinking about it.

The rocker cover itself you cannot change to a different head. You can change the breather plates that bolt to the top however.

Another tip is mark the wheel where your measuring, keeps it easy then.

The blue aluminium ones? We have those, but we also have 2 back up jacks as they're so damned unreliable.

Means they're drilled from the big end up to the little end to provide lubrication to the gudgeon pin. The VAG boys get all hormonal about it if they aren't done. Personally my 360bhp LCR lasted fine without.

They can be separated. Held on by 8 10mm bolts iirc

They both have a breather plate ontop of the rocker. It just varies slightly.
