I was told the rear brakes are fine. I guess they work like a Clio Cups. As in they do sod all. Dampers are leaking. TBH they don't ride very well, the Mag Dampers I had on the F type were miles better.

Car serviced. Inspection, Oil Change and spark plugs for £295 a full £280 less than Audi wanted initially. But I need a tyre on the front due to sidewall damage, luckily I have a 235/35/19 P Zero kicking around so I'll get that on and its good to go. And...... It need four new magnetic...

They just called them to ask if they were using genuine parts. Which they were, as it says on both the quote I sent and all the website literature.

That's the issue with those plans. 5 years or 50k miles. In both cases you only get 2 services. Which is a bit of a kick in the balls when an oil change and an inspection cost you £535 each. Audi have caved in and mated my specialists quote. Oil change and inspection for £165. Cheeky £225...

Because the £100 in fuel costs actual money too. No wonder the bank will not give you a mortgage ;)

Just got a price of £165 for the service and inspection from a local specialist. Audi are investigating it as proper parts may not be used... The only actual part used in the service is an oil filter lol

No one answered the service desk at two dealers after calling 4 times. The one dealer I did get through to couldn't give me a price! JCT600 have just emailed me saying it'll be £371 for an oil change and to look at it! f**k that.

Up to 17500 miles and no one wants to service it. JCT600 Audi are useless.

The standard previous gen R8 V10 (not the plus model) was one of the most disappointing sounding cars I've driven. The plus model was a lot better and the current gen sound good but only at the top end when you get the V10 wail.

Hit a piece of wood on the M-way. Needs the front and back bumpers painting now. Also due its first service and inspection. Joy. Still fast as f**k like though.

I think the volume of the OEM and Airtec are nearly the same though.

They sound miles better than the old muted V8/V10 R8's. The new V10 sounds ok but is still far too quiet!

That is true. I'm reasonably high up in the company I work for and if I turned up in something knackered it wouldn't look good. Although I'm odd and don't look at BMW and Audi etc as high end brands now, they are just the norm here.

To be fair, only 20% of my 30k a year is on the M-way. I'm all country side based so I do get to use the RS3 properly. But I think in the same situation I'd hang my self in a 3.20 etc, whereas a RRS has that something special about it. I've done around 1000 miles in the one above and I loved...
