Its not expensive, i think the fixing kit with the seals is about £25 and the crank bolt is about £7 if i remember right. Renault do state that when replacing the cam belt kit these parts must also be replaced.

Only the tool to lock the cam pulleys, un do the pulley cap then un do the nut and the dephaser comes off. Make sure that the end of the cam and the new dephaser are 100% clean and oil free, i would also replace the cam oil seals and also use all new fixings. Renault sell a kit which has the...

Welcome, the steering issues could be the steering rack mounting bushes im sure you can buy these as a kit from Renault for about £45 Also it might help to freshen up the front suspension. Scott

Re: My PH1 172 Gave the car a quick wash today, then took my son to Lakeside. Car came up rather good i think, last time i washed it i gave it a cote of AG extra gloss protection which has done its job. (Sorry for the picts they where taken with my phone)

Headlights can be sorted, there's enough posts on here about them.

Yeah the aux kit is £74 all in from Renault but from ECP its £150 + vat.

Id get it done myself mate, did you know that if the aux belt fails it takes the cam belt out with it? Renault state that the aux belt kit should also be replaced when the cam belt is replaced or every 3 years or 36k
