I also dont know if people know this- maybe a heads up for someone- If you have an Ebay account you can list a car for sale then tap the reg in on ebay & in the ebay catalogue it will tell you how many owners & the date of registration.... You would assume that someone has the V5, but perhaps...

Ben- I did keep in touch & Say you should have bought through me- What I would say is the comments in this thread are correct- the car may be an 'unrecorded' loss- A lot of 'rogue' ( SOME GENUNINE) traders go to bodyshops & places to buy cars that have been in accidents but not declared...

I have a 172 mk 2 02 plate- Buying turinis for it- Given the choice what would be the best tyre profile? I know either a 195 or 205 would fit- but is that 45 / 16 or what? Many thanks Steve

Insurance Company usually pay only 50% book value on CAT C- bar that in mind- Low mileage Clio 182 05 Plate will probably book at around 5k give or take- So 2.5k is coming your way if it gets written off.... S

Its a tad over priced- it may actually be worth it- but most people buying a 182 these days have done their research & know that things like the belts etc are due this year, ( or early part of next for yours)- I sold my 182 last week & in literally the same week of advertising- was same...
