Looks like its been butchered. Get rid of it and the acoustic valve it connects to.

There's a flap on the front arch liner that attaches to bit you circled in that pic, 45 quid from Renault. Wouldn't bother uprating the arb bushes. The powerflex dogbone mount bushes are 30 quid from Kam Racing.

I'm planning on doing a trackday that day but will come if I'm back in time. Meg are you going to actually come and join us this time.

Have you taken the arch liner out in the second pic because you shouldn't be able to see that pulley?

I've seen the Clio with stripes a few times. Think it's an RS but not sure if it's a 172 or 182 as I haven't seen it from behind.

It locks but not all the time. When it does lock it's with a slight delay after the doors locking.

I think this was a very good buy considering you're stripping it anyway. Look forward to seeing updates. LOL

I've got this issue with my boot locking. Does anybody know if any boot solenoid off a Clio will work or does it have to be off a 172?

Might be cheaper to chip your windscreen and get it replaced with new trim on insurance.

If you don't need the money and have space for it then I'd keep it. You'll only regret selling it once business picks up and you have time to enjoy it.

I'm keeping mine forever as I'd only get £3.5k for it if i'm lucky and a 3 year old car with similar performance will cost £10k+ at least. It's a lot of money to change car when I'm looking to buy a place soon. I'm actually in process of getting it looking new again. It's due in for frontend...
