yeah, a wee clio expression. i done full exhaust system, home made decat, tried a few different filters and airbox setups, ended up using a modified renault airbox with home made HKS filter, was all a great laugh and made the difference!

they dont need to come off just look at the dampers under the bump stops you will usually see they are covered in oil with loads of s**t stuck to the oil, or if they have been gone a while you will likely see the remains of where...

best setup for the cars from a handling point of view is koni adjustables and eibach sportlines. they cost about the same if not more than cheap coilovers but ive never tried cheap coilovers cant imagine them being as good from a performance point of view though.

ive owned a 1.2 16v, DCi65, DCi 100 currently have a 1.6 16v and 172.
1.2 16vs are terrible on fuel, horribly slow to drive
DCi65 is a much better alterniative, just as slow but never feels it due to a nice low down punch (think of how a 1.2 shifts with 5.5k gearchanges, thats what a dci is...
got to disagree i got a nice gain on mine, granted the decat possibly done that but 15lb/ft mid range and 10lb/ft peak torque. never dropped anything top end either as you would usually expect with a 4-2-1.
