am thinking alot like this now...i was gonna be doing the engine bay out soon with painted parts...polished bits etc....now i dunno if its worth the hassle and the amount of hair i will pull out
indeed.....am so annoied...don't know what to do with myself now....
r-jay i think those valver bays are harder to clean to..no room to get anywhere..lol
well i started the day off by thinking i would give my engine bay a good clean up.....
so i went to halfrauds got the products and come home....then set to work
i thought it would be easier to take the bonnet off to work on the bay so set about doing this....and what happens..the bonnet...
obviously no more tips...lol
had to get halfrauds own stuff as they didn't sell the ag stuff..just to clarify
spray on degreaser...
add water
wipe off and then treat to rubber / vinyl care
as i have a day to do nothing tomorrow i think i am gonna get the bonnet off and give the engine a really good clean then..have to get some cleaner in the morning then will set upon it..
any tips then?
dunno if you have had the chance yet but how does the valver compare to the astra..i know the valver will walk all over it but by how much...my mates just got an sri see....
cheers mate..once the strobes under the bonnet i may leave it there...maybe some underneath the car to...ooohhh maybe a big spoiler..hang on i think i am onto something here.....
cool thought that was the case...how do i change the base timing then and is it really vital.
some ass keeps out bidding me on the decat on ebay..lunner special is looking promising..lol
tucks don't appoligies to tom for the 2ltr comment...thats were the real power is at...lol
no pony trekers...
think it looks really nice that.......keep the standard mirrors and bumpers i think.....keep it subtle....lovely base for a turbo project there i reckon
if you give it til this afternoon mate you will probably have a list of places you can go to get it worked on.....lots of people with the knowledge on here..as said above there is a buyers guide for the 172 in evo this month otherwise its the usual stuff i think..good choice on the mark 1 172 by...
totally agree....nice cars but blokes jus don't look right in them.....lol
don't be a pansie....stay with the 172..strip it..buckets...slam it and have more fun
