Yep returnless setup. I wouldnt bother with non return valve as it will prob just fire up then conk out whilst its sorting itself out
From reading up about it i believe some maps prime the pump every turn of the key (rstuner ?)
Yep sounds like regulator fault and need to crank to build pressure up when stood, common issue. Fuel pressure reg is fitted in the sender unit. I believe all you can do is buy a new sender and pump complete, have looked for reg on its own but no joy. Mine does it when sat about for a few days.
Might be weak fuel pressure regulator. Click the ign on once and turn off. Click it on again and the the fuel pump will prime, try starting it then and see if it fires straight up.
Car hoard like me and you wont have a problem like that in the future ?Ive sold a couple of cheap cars in the past, cut up a couple of Renault 11 turbos/gt turbos But they were rotten as pears/crashed so not a massive loss.
I used to own a 4x4 saph cossie replica that is still kicking about in...
Box swap day. Steady 45mins and subframe is ready to drop, quick bit of dinner and scan a meg250 with clip then back on with it. Hopefully be running and driving with new gearbox, new clutch & pms shifter in tomorrow ?
I wouldnt put atf in a road car however i ran it for at least 5 years in a jb3 no issues and that was with 235hp/220ft/lb and many trackdays. One of my friends ran a jc5 with a quaife lsd fitted - 336hp and that was tracked regular without issue on dextron II. Maybe mechanical sympathy on both...
Its very basic just 2 wires straight from the interior clock to the mirror..sensor might be broken or disconnected if no reading. I retrofitted the temp sensor in my dci and my kangoo.
I have also used dextron II in my Extra van with success, its on jb3 but not a million miles away from jc5. After blowing up a load of gearboxes was recommended it by a drag racer apparantly a lot of the honda lads use it.
Shifts were a lot better over 7k rpm when hot and no more damaged...

I have used total gear8 in my dci too dirt cheap from gsf seems decent its gl4 75/80.
In for replys. I gently agitated my recaros with a nail brush and slightly dampened the material, it made a difference but they are still no where near as very mucky so need to revisit.
Clip is great for the Renaults mate powerful bit of kit. Clone clip off ebay is quite reasonable to buy too?
No worries mate if you need any advice just give me a shout. Its all about sharing the knowledge - ive found loads of info on here its great ?
Need to get some more use out of it...
It will all be due to high ambient temps. Its been the hottest spell we have had in years. Intake temp was something daft like 60deg on idle on the rs monitor in the megane the other day and thats with ac on
I wont be doing it for a long time yet, just parts gathering at the mo. There is an option to build the newer shape kangoo with the turbo lump - clio197/200 front suspension - i believe it might go on without too much fuss which would probably be awesome if it worked out. Need to get my Extra...
I dont mind the orange either breaks up the white. I bought the clear bits but just could not be bothered to try them. Maybe in the future if i get really bored lol.
Haha im not that big at the mo after massive diet, 13st9 feel like a shadow of my former self?
Cheers mate just trying to get all the little bits right on this and hopefully will get a few trouble free trackdays out of it soon?
Are you going to Cs festival in August ? I can bring the laptop and clip with me to reconfig your setup to suit no bother. If not im sure we can sort something out?
Replace the battery in the fob and check the microswitch is still attatched to the circuit board regarding remote central locking.
All doors should lock off the interior button i would check fuses and then go onto wiring. If you have access to clip maybe scan and actuate the door locks to test.
Been looking into this myself. I believe you need the pin code to match the vin number associated with the uch to program the keys with clip. I also hear other programs will do it without too not sure if true or not ?
