k-tec stealth, 4500rpm
i suppose henk could possiibly change it if you asked nicely
how so?
na mate cat still fitted, not for long :)
no, DSG box costs a fortune, LC was free :)
Waiting on the insurance policy starting before i test it on the road
i wish!, fastchip
they are the original renault ones, if you get them from a renault dealer you will pay about twice as much for the same plug in a renault box so just get them from an NGK dealer, they are the best plugs for the engine, dont be fooled by other manufacturers claiming power gains from their plugs!
an 02 extreme will be basically a dynamique (the later extremes 53 plate onwords were cheaper and more basic)
the extreme will have the horrid green interior that staines really easy.
54 dynamique will be a phase 3 so will have the facelift front bumper, different wheels, colourcoded rear...
id replace the lambda sensor, and the spark plugs (ONLY USE NGK PFR6-10) that mixed with the fresh air filter from the service your going to do should hopefully bring it back up.
i would put money on it not being a turbo, N/A all the way, i personally wouldnt buy a turbo one unless it was extremely good!
theirs still more power to come from the f4r yet!!
never had a problem with the system in my ph2 during normal driving so i left it on, you never know whats round the corner and if your day dreaming and not expecting it to step out then its handy.
when pushing on though its dangerous forgot it was on one day and came nailing round a long...
dont bother with the 172 wheels the ph2 dynamique wheels are mint and they drive/handle better on them too, set of decent grippy 195/50/15's and they handle awesome
anyone ever see that program cant remember what it was called but they done a test to find out which used more fuel.
from what i remember under 30mph you got better mpg with the windows down but over 30mph you were better with the A/C on.
doesnt bother me that much really, i just want to be...
no wiring is completely different so you would need to use the full dci wiring loom, along with dci UCH and ph2 dashboard (need the ph2 door cards to fit that too)
in all honesty unless the car has some significant sentimental value, its not justifyable at all!
i like it, colour is quite cool if a bit girly ;)
personally i think it suits the 15's i wouldnt bother with 172 wheels, set of clear side repeaters would tidy it up as long as you got the genuine renault ones. the cheap ones look rubbish
and of course the best mod you could do would be dual...
yes should always do them in pairs, on a performance car or anything other than a runabout! they get tired over time, so even though only one is leaking they wont be the same if you fit a brand new one on one side and leave the other on the other side
you mean a phase 1? this shape...
doing the swap you would be doing ie basically just reshelling isnt really any harder than any other engine swap, however when your picking up a mk2 dynamique dci which is a better speced car for under £2k, is it really worth while?
just re read your thread title, its a year 2000 car? so MK2 not MK1? in that case then yes its slightly easier but still a pain, the 1.5 dci will fit on the same engine mounts.
your best bet (obviously its much easier and cheaper to buy a dci however..) is to buy a crashed dci, swap the...
1.5 dci 100 remapped to 130bhp 200lb/ft wud be awesome in a mark 1 but sadly its not worth the hastle, and i mean it would be a mega hastle!, if you were to buy a doner car it would be easier but still a pain
apparently you could get 3 door ones in other countries, they are mega mega rare in dci 100 form id probably snap one up if i saw one just for the rare factor although id have to do a few bits n pieces before i was happy with it!! they would be ideal for a euro project!
you could get mk2 ph1...
