As above bit expensive at time of year when everybodys spending money for Christmas. Firstly I'd put a new MOT on it. Then change the springs as lot of younger drivers won't be allowed to insure mods and older buyers won't want a lowered car.
That panel gap on the arch doesn't look right.
Drove one in this colour at Oulton Park RS day. Didn't like it as the ESP was intrusive and there was lots of turbo lag.
If you change anything make sure you've got decent brake pads and fluid. I found out at FCS that standard brakes fade badly.
Thats the only reason you get this ribbing about trackdays, your car is ready for the track!
I've gone from Conti3s to GSD3s on my 172 and I think the Goodyears are better in the wet and wear less. Might be different story with 17s on a 197 though.
