its probably best deal i have had on a car as i only payed 400 on it

bare in mind its on 01 plate

good points

Bad points

dint on rear quarter and door
compression down on cylinders 3 & 4 (needs head gasket)
failed MOT on emmissions yesterday this is a fubared cat i think
oh and needs a new stearing wheel

no i do intend on fixing it as the deisal pump has just gone on my golf and it would be cheaper to fix this than fix the golf and the other little problems with it

i will be having it for a daily drive for now so will be tidying it up then when i have decided whats happening with the golf if i fix the golf will be turning this into a track car

Not bad, although the engine re-build & panel damage cost could easily turn into big figures unless your gonna do it all your self which would make it a bargain fun run around

ok there is that but it seems to be on every 172 phase 1 i have seen

and i got it off a mate of a mate that wanted it out of his mums barn cos he had lost intrest in it

went in garage on friday and the heads been sent off for skimming should have it back end of week and on road end of next week when i get payed to pay the insurance deposit

been qouted £160 for the dint down the side doing all though i havnt shopped about yet for cheaper quotes so the car should stand me at about a grand
