thats what i done then sold my 190bhp 172 and remaped the dci, granted its no where near as fast straight line but still massively capable and mega fun to drive with the sportlines on it, dont regret selling the 172!

not sure on the RS grill it will only get one if it gets the full RS kit!

mint i love my mapped 100, the 4th gear pull mid range is awesome! i found at 30mph in 5th gear as standard it was borderline undrivable always used 4th as it wasnt smooth at all, now its fine and you can easily overtake in 5th gear.

and how many thousand JB1, JB3 and JC5 boxes have been changed on cars under 30k miles?! ive change loads of J Series renault boxes and never any others!

mine got on my tits but it was decatted, personally if i was to go back id keep standard system and decat it to give it a little rasp!

get a helicoil insert in the head plug 3 by any chance? common fault this is why they should be torqued up when changed!

rubber seal on the ariel base i bet, seems to happen on the cars with the larger ariel base, dont know if they changed them after a certain age etc but my 53 plate has the larger one and none of my others did (51,02,03 plates) and the rubber seal is all fucked on it

no need for cams to get 190bhp, i got 188 with standard cams, a remap would have got me 190+

yeah mate fine to drive it, you can adjust it but if its bent just replace it, 5 minute job to replace, wee bit of trial and error to setup then thats it :) any linkage will fit ie non RS ones too if your getting one from the scrappies.

nitro is great for about an hour then they just end up causing problems. electric is much more fun imo charge it run it throw it back in the garage then charge it 3 years later and use it again no f**king about with trying to start it again

i lost an engine once too due to relying on the guage lol
