my mrs 1.6 16v clio pulls well from 500rpm but yet my old 172 was lumpy and dead bellow 3k then it surged forward untill 5k when it was explosive lol its because it has wilder cams, the vvt system could have been better to cope with this, i beleive it is in the 197. a 182 exhaust manifold will...

renault only part, GSF and euro list it but when you get it its for a rear drum car :( i had mega bother a year ago when both snapped and renault couldnt get them for over a month and no one else done them, had to go a month without a car couldnt even get a 2nd hand one

yeah had it for 2 year but spent £1k on coilovers and top mounts, drove it 3 times and sold it lol

personally i got the car the way i wanted it then realised there wasnt much else i could do to improve it without spending thousands more, so got bored and sold on.

its possible without removing the driveshaft ive done it but it is easyer, being honest if your interested in decating it id take it to a custom place and get a decat pipe made up for it, since it doesnt need changed over at mot time anyway its a case of have one fitted and forget about it.

your more likely to notice the extra weight than extra power.

they are a c**t to change. using a smashed out cat is nowhere near as good as using a proper decat on these engines due to the size of them, i remember some people having the car running worse with one.

looks awesome mate, rear dampers leaking are a common fault, totally ruin the handling they are all over the road when they go. only £50 a side for genuine renault items from renault though if you dont want to go the aftermarket route! nice to see a standard one, exhausts are bad for falling...

lol at the vectra comment, i remember nailing the 172 down a motorway sliproad one day giving it 7200rpm changes every gear and even at the top end of 5th still having a f**kin zafira cdti right up my arse!!! it was piling out black smoke everywhere must have had a mental map on it

why do people change the racks instead of the inner track rods, thats what solved my problem when i had it
