Can anybody help me with the WIFI? It'll only connect to my router when the security is disabled. Its managed to connect a couple of times when I enable the security but 99% of the time it doesn't!
I'm using WPA with an AES passphrase.
I really liked the nosie it makes, where did you get it from? Mines just standard but I think the back box is starting to go so I might have to treat myself to one of those.
I've got a 172ff as well. Had my bottom n/s ball joint replaced at a local independent garage for £50. They just replaced the joint so its definately possible to get it without the whole arm.
Think I saw your car the Saturday afternoon before xmas, you passed me coming off the Blackdam roundabout. Have you got an aftermarket exhaust or induction kit because it sounded good?
Surprised you can get 10hp out of a standard car. I was under the impression that most on here have struggled to get 10hp from matched inlets, decat, and an induction kit.
I have, but it looks closer to 12 than 9.9 to me. The cars moving on the vid by 4 seconds and doesn't reach 60 till gone 15 seconds. Anyway i don't want to argue, not a bad time for a 1.2 :D
Best way IMO. I've never regretted keeping my 1.1l 106 for six years while i was at college, uni and starting work. Then I bought my 172 in March when i could afford the insurance and running costs.
I reckon it'll be fairly even, down to the better driver. Get a good start and nail every gear change you'll be fine. If you miss a gear change then your fucked!
Re: 70% complete 172RWD!
Put a larger fuel tank in the front, it would solve two problems. Only downside would be the balance of the car would change as you get low on fuel. Would be good to have a fuel cap in the middle of the bonnet, certainly unique not that this project isn't already!
No denying that its a good car but as others have said only a select few would consider buying it. Even a genuine modded 1*2 would take a big hit when selling on. Hope you find a way of keeping it or someone who'll pay what you want.
Using your argument then Liquid Yellow is an even plainer colour with only 73 being registered. And Arctic Blue is a better colour than Racing Blue because more were built. But I like a lot of people would disagree with those statements!
I think Monaco Blue and Racing Blue are the best colours for the 172 and 182 respectively. if I was going to get a 182 it would have to be either Racing Blue or Liquid Yellow. They're both as good as each other, but Monaco Blue is the more exclusive colour with only 468 being built compared to...
Does anyone know if this splitter on the renaultsport website will fit the 172? Its quite expensive but would look good if it fits?
