Hi, would like to know peoples opinions on what to replace my brake pads with. Want pads for day-to-day use as I don't do track days. Should I just go with the stock pads or try something different?
If you painted the engine cover white it'd contrast well with the black inlet manifold and finish it off nicely IMO. If you didn't have the black badges and wheels then how about Racing Blue stripes on white?
New tyres, disks and pads sounds bit sus. Might have been ragged, look thru the history to see how often they've been replaced. I keep all my receipts and any good caring owner should do the same IMO.

As long as the cut on the sidewall isn't down to the cord of the tyre it'll pass an MOT and its perfectly safe.
I've heard they can be quite good used on a wall as coat hook!
Seriously though (I think) the idea with the Evo is to help improve the airflow over the rear spoiler. Better flow of air = increased downforce. So seeing as the Clio hasn't got a proper spoiler it'd probably do f**k all.
