you can use a standard 1.2 16v turbo engine or convert a d4f to turbo but its only 100bhp hardly a decent conversion, and its not really tunable without massive work!

unless its been on an engine dyno then its not a proven 76bhp but assuming the same RR, same conditions etc then id say you;ll gain 5-7bhp if that. mine was RR'd at 82bhp but it was never RR'd before mods so theres no way to tell if i got a genuine 7bhp or not!

yes but it was an engine built to run a turbo reliably, the compression ratio was designed for running boost, the gearbox and clutch were built to withstand the torque from the turbo, the pistons, rods, crank etc was all designed to run reliably at that power. the 1.2 16v engine was designed...

the tce runs a tiny turbo with hardly any boost, you could swap all the parts over but its a lot of money for 25bhp, you could raise the boost slightly (i think but not 100% sure on the standard turbo spec) but even at that you wont get any decent gains and if you change the turbo for something...

we turbod a 1.4 8v saxo for a couple of hundred quid!, its cheap if your handy with a spanner! i was going to do my old 1.2 16v for a laugh but never have the time these days

my 172 doesnt cost me much more than my 1.2 16v did either but it costs me a lot more than my mates dci costs him!

bodykit is a big mistake, will ruin the look of the car, totally devalue it too. keep it simple, lower it 60mm at least. looks no bad, no to keen on the wheels but they might look better when lowered

we had a 1.2 16v that had the squeeky fan too its so annoying but i never got round to sorting it, i assumed it was just a squeeky fan? it done it from when it was brand new

of course you can, you'll still get a gain because the cat is the most restrictive part on most exhausts, but you would get a better gain changing the full system too. driving around normally fuel consumption wont be any worse, infact im sure some people report better mpg with decats!!!
