    wow!

ive got standard airbox and ITG pannel filter and removed the acoustic valve to get some more noise, sounds as good as a cone filter but cost me nothing! (well the ITG i had to buy but would sound the same with a standard filter!)

renault dont stock oil for 197???!!!

they dont advise you to use one grade and use a different, they tell you exactly what grade(s) of oil is acceptable for the engine and they use it, as long as its of the recomended spec its fine. renault service your car to THEIR specification, if you want to have it serviced differently take...

renault dont stock oil for 197???!!!

no need for that. as edde said they stamp your service book and use the oil specified by renault, at the end of the day it was them who designed your engine, they wont use 10w40 if they dont think its up to the job for such a "high performance" engine. im all for using decent oil, i used...

    Turbo/cup pics

what makes the 1.8 better to turbo over the 2.0? shorter stroke over the 2.0?
  19. Martin_172

Slight loose of power when accelerate

well afaik the car will display a warning light if it records a fault, so if you dont have a light on the dash the car doesnt think there is a fault, so nothing to record for the clip to read but i may be wrong?

    h&r's

Yep FK Konigsport Silverline X coilovers the adjustable damping ones with the koni dampers, handled superb especially once the polly bushes were on it, but not a million miles better than the 172 with eibach sportlines with standard dampers and bushes
  22. Martin_172

    h&r's

i had mine slammed on its arse and it handled really well once it had been set up, then i went on a mad handling mission and raised it a bit hand had it set up again and it handled much better on rough roads but not much different on smooth roads (or a track!)
  23. Martin_172

    h&r's

i seee ;) wish i had converted mine but didnt/dont have the time anymore :( h&rs go just as low as FK's or there about i think... heres my old one... back maxed out on 195/45/15

    Bmc for a 1.2 16v

you will need the clio adaptor plate. it only fits a clio, think k-tec sell them seperate. induction kits r crap on the 1.2 16v dont make much noise and make it slower lol
