mine snapped last month, was no piston damage just bent valves. i payed £200 for another 1.2 16v engine with 50k on the clock (compaired to mine with 140k lol) belt snapped wednesday, i took engine out other car on the thursday night, mine out friday night and new one in on the satarday.

initial has higher spec but not the looks. dynamique is from the sport range, comes with the sports seats, 15" wheels, spoiler, front fogs, trip computer etc etc good little cars, handle well standard, lack power but for your average person they are fine.

2.0 tubo volvo engines are HUGE! my mate has an old volvo estate with the 2.0 turbo running about 380bhp rear wheel drive. its that big you'd have problems rear mounting it in a clio lol (na not quite that big but wont fit under the bonnet, plus it sits a totally different way)

been playing about with this today, still not fixed keeps blowing the fuse. had the stereo and amp out to check wires and all seems fine. checked conections to the battery, fine checked all light bulbs i can think of, all is fine. any ideas?

aparently average life of a battery is 3yrs? mine died after 4/125k but had started dying after 3yrs. also the terminal conecting to the starter motor can come loose and cause it not to start.

embarrassing for him when he hit a corner lol you ever seen they turbo corsas trying to corner? my mates got one with about 300bhp on a straight scary isnt the word but on a corner my wee 1.2 eats it alive its hilarious lol.

are the bolt holes on the strut fixed or adjustable? if they are adjustable (sounds like it) then its needing set up and thats whats causing your rubbing. tracking should be out slightly but shouldnt make too much difference.
