Think the 68 still has the 65 injectors not sure if it has the yellow tag s**t turbo or the variable vane one the same as the 100 Easiest way to check is if it has a MAF sensor or an inlet air temp sensor and a buzzing boost solenoid in the bay behind the ECU

The sound of a 65/80 with a straight pipe is awful! The yellow tag turbos just make a horrible bark, the blue tag BW 100 turbos make a decent sound. Similar to a PD130

I’ll have it firing this week, then it’s just elementary stuff like wiring my EPAS, pressing in some polybush Ed and changing brake lines and calipers. I’ll have it done before yours is on the road again[emoji6][emoji6]

Intercooler and a better air filter on a 65 with a map will make it about as quick as a 100, maybe even more

It’s forcing the doughnut into the turret? Did you check if the spring is seated correctly? And that it’s not snapped

My 100 was alright, it kept up with or was a bit quicker than a few other normal cars that chav dads think they can race about in like 1.6 Focus’, derv Vectra’s/Zafira’s I still miss it and wish I hadn’t sold it, rear quarter damage made me fall out of love with it though
