Nice one Ant. Did spot this earlier but didn't get chance to reply.
I'll try and get something in for this. Hopefully they will be as popular as they used to be.
Full. Tried ready to go home. Just not ready for the 9+ hour drive back today.
Started a timelapse of a star trail. Fucked it off after 40 minutes due to loads of cars passing with their full beams on. Will end up not using any of those shots.
Moved further north, should have started here...
Up at 5 this morning to climb up to the Old Man Of Storr. Absolutely killed me as I'm ridiculously unfit.
A frame from a timelapse I shot. Got a lot of editing to do when I'm home. 7x16gb and 1x8gb cards used. Most absolutely full.
Phone edit.
Might be worth returning it if it was brand new. Some lenses come off focused from new. I know of people sending lenses back a few times before getting one perfectly sharp all through.
The missus is out tonight and I've got the little one. Whilst I absolutely love him to bits, I can't believe that this is kicking off. Taken from my porch, all my mates are out with the cameras checking this! Sorry for the FB quality. Just editing some more.
Get somewhere dark enough and you will see it easily mate. I can pick it out at home now in a fairly light polluted town. It should be fairly obvious on the app, looks like a massive cloud.
Very nice.
I thought I recognised the lighthouse, I think we visited it when we went a few years ago - saying that, there are a lot on that Island!
I'd love to get back there now I shoot more night stuff, loads of places which will be decent for clear skies.
Ah OK. Works like that on mine but I get 4 or 5 options iirc but I'm using a Nexus 6p. Samsung must have limited what can be seen.
Samsung have software called Keiss, or at least they used to. That might get it recognised.
Swipe down from the top when it's plugged in and you should get the option of what it's doing while connected.
Might be able to get through that way but I wouldn't know where to start with finding deleted files.
I've had a few more hours on this now. Slowly getting used to it.
Cleated all of the White Orchard locations that I can access. Slowly leveling up, now at the heady heights of Level 4... Takes a while to level up just killing ghouls and downers. Managed to clear a few monsters nests too once...
Just ordered Street Fighter 5. Managed to get it for £37 delivered after seeing the cheapest in game for £49.99 for a Pre owned version! How are Game still in business!!
Works both ways tbh. I've seen many Apple fans slating new Android phones etc.
It looks nice. I have a 6 for work and while I do like it I couldn't have it as my main phone. I just don't get on with ios.
The volume touch sensor is a stupid idea unless you are going to have it on a flat...
Check the Amazon thread in Technology chat. Not sure what builds are the best at the moment. I have one but I've not used it for a while so might have to update it. Plenty of tutorials on how to do it too.
Still not managed to have too much time on this, which I really do need. I might take it away with me when I'm away with work next week for something to do in the evenings.
I'm only level 3 but have tried (and failed, many times) to kill bandits at level 16. Well, managed to kill one then the...
Cheers Ant.
Always make sure you have your battery full charged. I need to remember to just leave my camera instead of looking at an image half way through a star trial/timelapse. Creates a gap which then looks s**t.
Cheers.
I've been looking at it again tonight and I need to make some more lens corrections to remove some more distortion of the house and remove the stray branches on the left.
Another from the same night as the above shot.

And I picked up a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 for a steal the other day, ended up going to Knowsley safari park today with the wife and little one. Pretty tricky shooting from the car window. Came out OK though IMO...
