Just out of curiosity as I have to do this too once I fit mine - when doing this would you get someone to sit in the drivers seat so that the car is level with the driver in the car.
if you don have spare wheels you could sit it on axel stands or bricks (gangsta) ... yeah the spoiler is black gold. Pearl black cup spoilers dont come up for sale anywhere near as often. Your other option is a Trophy/V6 replica spoiler for £80ish on ebay and get that painted.
Your car is looking fantastic - ,much prefer your black insert xenons compared to the grey ones - especially on a black car.
Will ping you a message mid january when I will be selling my black cup spoiler.
Gawd, why cant anything be simple and straight forward. Your man sounds like he knows his stuff and will be able to get it fixed with a different primer or something.
You can get usb cigar adapters that have 2 usb ports . Then use bluetooth along with a slim odb2 reader (viecar bluetooth adapter) for the diagnostics part along with Torque.
Hi mate,
How much is a new grille ? never occurred to me that you could buy them new.
Also when you got your steering wheel done in Aylesbury did you have to buy a spare steering wheel whilst yours was being re-trimmed or did they do it while you waited.
Got to catch up one day .
Gus
Im no expert on this but have seen a lot of these issues seem to be due to the earth strap on the gearbox not making proper contact. Have you tried the second key and what happens with that.
Ive had a 172 that I ran for 7 years and 156k and that never used a drop of oil a all. Had a 182 that used more than the Exon Valdez and my latest 182 that doesnt use any. From reading on here the consensus is to just keep topping the oil up as its quite costly to fix.
oh and pro tip : when removing your old exhaust mounts wear some glasses as you end up getting rust in your eyes if you aren't careful. I had crap in my eyes for days after ha ha

really worthwhile getting an angle grinder and some goggles, they come in so useful for stuff like this.
That looks properly corroded, have you got an angle grinder?
dont know the size you need but this has the same type http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Clamps-Flanges-Hangers-/177995/i.html
You got a good deal there. Its looks like it has been well looked after. dont like the KTR sticker or the tow strap though.
The front jacking are really crap, I would say 95% of peoples are bent.

bit of a clean and they would be awesome.
There was some Recaro trendline Evo seats a few days ago that Lesley was selling, they were going cheap and would polish up quite well.
will see if i can find them..
Good on you, thats a pain in the ass replacing the cat to manifold gasket on your own. Its one of those jobs that is so much easier with 2 people - did you do the nuts and bolts from the engine side or from under the car. Are you on ocuk btw.
