This reminds me of when I tried to do this by myself. Was a pig of a job and took me absolutely ages. I ended up loosing one of the bolts, it fell away and never found it, spent ages searching for it too. Its definitely a two person job if you want an easy time.

Hi , Ive got a Milltek catback as my 182 exhaust and need to replace the exhaust clamp. Does anyone know if the exhaust clamp is the same as one Renault would sell or is the milltek exhaust bigger so needs a bigger clamp. cheers

Well worth unplugging the battery for a while then reconnecting it. I think whats happened is the fuel pump has been cut off due to a sensor or ecu.

The fuel consumption is much better in a 172/182 than a 1.2 , dont worry about that aspect.
