That was mental, you were running on metal! My Brembo pads didn't last much longer, I think I got 3 laps in before they vanished in a big black cloud of dust. Although for road use the Brambo pads are quite good, i'm currently on Pagid from EPC, they're lasting reasonably well.

Solenoid in the boot mechanism, it's very common and not expensive to fix.
