Atleast a good job has been done, im sure this will sell well as every 17 year old would want one and im sure insurance wouldnt be too bad bearing in mind its a 1.2
What would be good is if they either offered a waiting area where customers could observe the work. Kind of like in that recent Dom Joly sketch where there is a business class waiting room at the bus stop made of glass . The second thing would be if they could fit cameras on each workshop bay...
Be carefull with taking 2 spaces as some people will react badly to it and you run the risk of getting keyyed etc. I always make sure i never park next to the right of a decent car thats likely not to have kids.
If youve just written your 106 wont you need a car asap. Waiting till july wouldnt be an option would it? getting a second hand one would be much easier, right now people are struggling to sell their 172/182s even dealers dont like to have too many as they dont sell too well. My 172 is coming...
Blue 182 Youve gone and got yourself a PC too now, i think i will hae to get one. What was the grand total in pounds for the whole lot including delivery+tax, I suppose you got the sonus pad kit too.
Scratch X is great, buy some megs foam applicator pads aswell as they make applying easy and...
Brazo : what the PC like, have you had a chance to give it a good testing.
I managed to get some very cheap Meguiars Ultimate wipes from a really good ebay seller. I got 11 for £30 they were all sealed in the individual meguiars packs. They are the ones with the black border (old ones)which...
Yeah, rivets would be better as they have less chance of taking the whole bumper of if you did smack a speed bump hard or something. the reason i say this is that at work there is a guy with a Cup that parked it so that the splitter was resting on the pavement infront of the front wheels. when...
manual says 2.7 front + 2.2 bar for rear if you are doing motorway speeds or are heavy. tone that down a little bit if you are just pottering about town. (why cant they just quote psi)
People on your street must think you own a Renault dealership.
The 172s dont seem to have aerials?
Glad im not the only one with a narrow garage. although mines narrower than yours.
I bought the civic one too, reception is good still. takes seconds to screw in, suppose you put glue on the base of the aerial before you screw it in if you think it might get stolen again.
An old wash mitt is good for reaching round the back of the spokes, but doesnt really scrape off any baked on stuff.
Its a good idea to take the wheels off and clean them thoroughly and then use a long lasting wheel wax. It makes subsequent washes oh so easy. You dont have to do it more than a...
You made the right choice, I would have rejected it too.
They should put signs up saying Vans only at jetwashes that have that awfull foam brush. I sometimes see office types in their brand new bmw, audi etc using the jetwash brushes, they are probably thinking to themselves "boy this car is...
The reason you probably think you cant copy paste it is cause the text colour is white and you are pasting to a white page making the text invisible. Just highlight everything and change the colour
That merc looks nice and shiney. paint looks in good condition despite its age.
Agree the NXt wash smells lovely, the best smell is the meguiars stage 3 wax.
Yeah, basically, usualy place is the mounting under the battery. take the battery out and check if the mount is loose. If it is I think you just lever it into place, taking time to line it up 100% then bolt it back.
How do you guys clean the underside of the car, or do you not bother. Ive got a pressure washer but havent used it on the underside as i wasnt sure if it was safe.
