Im after a bit of wax advice. I want to apply a few layers of wax and do a good job. The car has been washed clayed and polished. Ive got the following:
- NXT Tech wax
-Megs #16
- Megs CC stage 3 carnuba wax.
- megs Gold class
What order should i apply these. I dont really like gold...
Yeah, but what you dont understand is that there is NO OTHER car that is faster than a 182 for the same money. We dont all have money to burn on expensive cars, but if i did and i wanted a performance car, an S600 would be very far down the list.
I see from your profile YOU drive a 1.2 clio...
mine does it too, but i put up with it. You might be able to take it to bits and replace the fan. It could be dust or hair caught in it or just need lubricating.
If you havent paid i full yet, agree a date of completion with them then say you will take off £50 a day if its not done. But then again, if you do piss them off who knows if they will do a shoddy job.
Ive got the same problem with a car here. I had just done my whole bonnet perfectly with Scratch X and then layered a load of NXT on top. I see the cat jump up, then start slipping due to no traction on the slick surface. It starts running on the spot till it slowly reaches the wipers and can...
Its a scam, there was a post about this a few days ago. Basically the seller will say the car is in italy or somewhere, and that you have to pay the £3k upfront. He will probably try and sell it to 5 + people then run off with the money.
Ive got a 172 mk2 and use it every day for work. I get 40p for the first 10,000 then 25p. I usually get 39mpg on average when im in work driving style.
It also depends how much you actually claim. cough.
The quality of work on that Blackclio is amazing. From the front you wouldnt know its a clio.
CDmullins - Blue with purple flakes sounds great, havent seen too many cars with that colour. How much is it for the complete spray, considering its probably v expensive paint? And just wondering how...
On the first few pics you can see the tread, the tread should be like /\ not \/ when looking at it from the front.
I dont think it makes too much difference in handling or stopping power.
Have you noticed that your front tyres are on the wrong way round. Im pretty sure they are directional and need to be going the other way. I failed an MOT because of it, only reasoni noticed.
I got some from the petrol station near the ring. BUT...
You can get some online too

I was on this road last night and know the pot hole well. Its one I know to avoid. Your lucky you didnt lose control completely as thefront must have jumped a bit after that impact. Is your subframe/suspension ok. Have you tried putting the pare on and seeing if it drives straight still.
Im pretty sure ive read somewhere that you can , but i cant remember what the condition was. It was either before a certain mileage , or you could only change it once.
Ive never had a car amp before but have noticed from all theones ive seen they are encased in a heatsink type alluminum enclosure. How hot do amps get as im guessing they need to dissipate a lot of heat. Also does this mean that you have to place your amp somewhere open so it doesnt over heat...
I heard insurance is loads cheaper. I think it just involves replacing the back side windows with sheet metal and also possibly taking the back seat out.
