Literally only watched MCM, DDC2 and Late Brake Show nowadays with an odd bit of AdamC thrown in just as filler. The only other channel I opt for is Super GT who does sim racing videos, strange as I'm not a sim racer nor play any of the same games 🤷♂️.
Yeah I can only take Car Throttle in small doses, even Alex's voice grates on me nowadays.
I used to enjoy their earlier content but skip most of it nowadays!
No not yet. However no doubt we'll be seeing a post on the FB group "something something 40 year old thinks he's 20 doing car launches out of the estate this is NOT a race track BTW does anyone want these stunning lampshades for free they're sooo cute xoxoxo"
Don't get me started on that, took me and @Louis at least 4 minutes to come to the conclusion that this particular model was a phase 2 200 EDC Turbo Trophy Type R. But yeah, they did do a PH2 non-trophy, I did initially want a Trophy but like I said, I'm an impatient f*ck.
Cheers mate. Park on the outside of the estate and walk in, there'd be a number of upset curtain twitchers seeing a ratty 172 on steelies pegging it down the road.
So, I used to own an EP3, I sold it last August as I fancied something more modern. The Civic was only getting older and as it was a daily it wasn't that suitable due to the lack of modern refinements (plus non-aircon) and I don't have the room for a 3rd car right now alongside mine and the...
Couple of spots on a country ramble this afternoon, the Evo was trailered and there was an escort shell behind it, both sat in a barn.
Any guesses? I normally have no issues identifying cars under covers but this has me a bit stumped!
It's funny because I don't think I ever played a 'competitive' game of TT against the AI at all. I never really played the original from what I can remember, just TT Deluxe.
My enjoyment from the game was just taking a huge blank map full of industries and towns, loading up a unique...
Spent sooo many hours on OTTD! Absolutely loved all of the new vehicle/graphic packs you could grab from tt forums, think that community is still very active.
Enjoying it so far. However, found the whole initial Norway section to be a bit of a drag. Felt like one continuous cutscene in some parts.
Just got to England and its 10x better already!
Just ordered this myself, I must have put in 60hrs on both Origins and Odyssey, both absolutely superb.
No idea why I'm so late to the party tbh, can't wait to have a proper 6 hour session with no story progress whatsoever, just mindlessly wondering around and exploring!
Couple of mates have...
Another vote for a single thread for all of your purchases (and sales) - "Jim's Automotive Adventure", rather than one thread per car. I'd actually be interested in your full car history too .
Love the 240, what's the mileage?
Absolutely love any of the track battle videos that BEST Motoring do, I love how they don't just focus on top end stuff but just throw a load of minivans on a track to see what happens.
I'd love to see British media firms doing stuff like this, I know Top Gear did track battles etc. Stick...
Fired up the old PS2 last night as I finally found my old memory card (in my sock drawer, lol).
Played GT1 for a couple of hours and the nostalgia was real, however it was definitely tough getting used to 20 year old driving physics 😆.
Found copies of GT4, Vice City, Red Alert, Rayman...
I keep thinking of others. Rod Millens 1000bhp Tacoma sounds ace but moreso looks like it would break wrists trying to keep it in a straight line.
Probably not one for the greatest sounds but definitely one of the coolest cars (or truck) that I know of.
The Driftworks AE86 makes me go all sweaty, also, this small clip of an R34 GTR makes my widge tingle. TBH I saw a Vulcan in person a few years back and the afterburner was one of the loudest things I've heard, crazy.
I've got a Halfords premium tool set, very fancy, cost about £100 I think? So far I've used two Allen keys to put up a shelf and dismantle a bed. #mekanic
