Well if you take the car to renault no they cant program cards off ebay as there programming as changed. Due to a batch of cards being stolen in france. New keys are ordered to vin number when you program them it gives use a number in which you have to enter the vin and that number to get a code...

Yea if its a gen renault alarm look to the left of the catch in the top part of the grill, if its not a geniune renault alarm then it my be on a little bracket somewhere else.

It has an alarm then, it does mean something is open, i would check the condition of the pin switches on the doors (bent or broken) the easiest thing to do it go round opening one door and holding the pin switch while you lock it. another thing is does it say a door is open with the engine...
