I got one bolt off, one snapped and one is just spinning. No new exhaust mount for me!

Only 10 mins? Earlier tonight I was under the car for longer than that and didnt even manage to get my old one off :(

Fabia splitter is only £13 or so from Skoda I believe. Much cheaper than a Renault or Carbon one. Yes, Stapleford is very close to Sandiacre.

Where did you get the junction box from to move the battery? As Dave mentioned I would look at another way of securing the battery, bolt it down maybe?

Are you local to Breaston? I live near there. Anyway as for cheap mods, there are a few carbon things you can get like bullets and diamonds that would go with the splitter. Is the car completely standard? If so, get some clear indicator bulbs as that cleans the front end up and only costs...
