Done the same with mine today. I have tried to hide the wires in the door skin to tidy it up a bit, got to sort a mounting place for the window and mirror switches now.
Dont worry about the yellow block. That will be for the display and steering wheel controls.
The saving settings is normally because it is not getting the permanent live and needs the yellow and red wires swapping over in the loom behind the stereo
I've just fitted ph2 side stips to mine too, makes a big improvement.
I'm also after a cup spoiler, you did very well to get one as there was about 5 wanted threads for titanium spoilers on here recently
Lowering it is the way to go mate, as good as the caged looked the car will look much better lower.
I would get the springs, not like you've got old dampers that would benefit from being replaced :)
Are you allowed to share the details of your new 'in development' suspension?
Also - will your Vmaxx fit my 172 as yours has cup packs? If so...let me know when you do sell? :)
As above, you should be fine with the screws. Use the T50 from the original wheel to hold the boss on and the small screws to hold wheel to boss.
You can get longer bolts on ebay if you need them
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Just read through this log. Love the work you've done and the choice of mods.
Looking forward to see how you get on with the RS2 manifold
