yea some tyre places have there off days mate. yea the mk2 ph2 has not much feeling to it and is a bit lighter. mk2 ph1 is the best though i think.

as above that was proberly the brake shoe material came away from the lining, rear brakes on 172/182 have a habit of sticking on when damp/wet but if you never had a problem before it could be the pads stuck in the housing
