personally id rebuild as the boxes are getting old and failing quite a bit, last thing u want to do is replace the box with one that fails soon after or as i done on a DCi - replace the box with one thats already broken!!
because its a cup you need a gearbox with a speedo drive so needs to be...
not sure what there is to hate, nearly twice the mpg of the petrol, £30 tax over what ever a 1.2 costs £120 or something??, more torque than a 182 on the higher spec ones
noise isnt a valid reason as a 1.2 4 cylinder hardly sounds awesome lol!!
thing is, people buy cars advertised that way i find myself speaking to loads of people who buy rediculous priced cars because its "boosted or chipped up to 200bhp".
were the silly ones advertising cars honestly!
as ive said many times on here, i paid thousands in insurance on 172's at 17/18/19 and wouldnt change a thing, i was raj as f**k and out of control most of the time for the first few years but it was worth it!!
everyone on here loves to slate people for spending loads of money on insurance as...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
personally they should just chop a chunk of cash off them and sell them direct with NO dealers as IMHO no dealers is better than the useless bunch of w**k bags we currently have up and down the country.
best way to put it is, stick a set of sportlines on a 172/182 and they are pretty well suited to the standard dampers, fit a set to a non RS and they are horrible! uprate the dampers on the non RS and they are decent again! as chip says its how good or bad the full combo you have is not just the...
yes it will fit and you will likely find the GT exhaust is identical to yours too so all you need is to order the GT tail pipes from renault and bolt on :)
ive only ever used them on non RS cars, i fitted just a set of -60mm springs to a DCI and it was horrible, on 2 sepperate cars though ive used the full apex -60mm kit with springs and dampers and it was more than up to the job! so as said, match them with a better matched set of dampers and they...
100 is the best if your interested in mapping, but holds much more money so depends what your looking for, 80 has the cheaper £20 tax over £30 of the other 2 and probably does the best mpg out of the 3, although you will only be 5/6mpg less from a 100 than an 80.
loads here www.cliodci.net
your as well with a car out of warranty anyway as the warranty is f**king useless. yes they cover all the common faults but problem is the useless idiots cant fit anything properly, so you get your correctly fitted broken part fitted with an incorrectly fitted working part, its no better!!
my...
gearboxes are fine, its the same box thats in your DCi106
MPG is terrible i average 21mpg most weeks, but mine is mostly a toy even though i take it to work with me so id imagine i could get mid 20's if i wanted to!
