road was 100% flat thats why i choose it, it hits the limiter if i find 1 with a slight hill haha starts to hit a very small hill at the end (you'll notice the shift light goes off again)

decent torque figure, that must be the RStuner map at a guess! the 10bhp imo if other cars with same mods were running different mods would possibly be shabby inlets there is big gains to be had from matched inlets on some cars and not so big on others, didnt make too much difference on mine but...

sportlines and brand new genuine 172 cup dampers here and im scared to change to H&R's incase i ruin it!! (even though ive been reasured 100 times it will only be better lol)
ive got the cable but not changer in my 2003, some fucker must have nabbed it at the dealer i got it from lol, dude there with a 51 plate 172 probably!
if i was you id travel a bit and get John @ Progrip Bonnybridge to do it, just got my 172 back from him, 48k service without air filter (got a panel filter) was just over £80! millers oil used by him and genuine parts, also does a good check of the car and highlights any other issues

good old dual mass flywheel on the dci is shot, megane one poped up on ebay, common problem on diesels, some even recomend a flywheel channge with a clutch change
im getting a nice one im sick fed up of my 172 its just made my mind up for me today with the advisory list from my service, its getting sorted and punted
hard on the brakes even from 145mph+ it brakes in a complete straight line no problem at all, ive been driving the dci on 15" wheels all winter and i know on my old clio it drove like a dog on 16s compaired to 15s and assuming 172's are the same just never had a shot of this car with 15s on it...
every road to be honest, its always tramlined on roads (all my clios have with 16" wheels) but this is worse, im putting the dci 15" wheels on it on tuesday to take it a run and see if its the tyres/wheel size/width!
i love this myth about clio gearboxes, dont turbo it it will break the box, dont supercharge it the box wont take it dont fit a K&N filter the extra power will eat the box.... how many people actually have issues with the boxes apart from the cars that have been humped about wheelspinning...
although the VVT doesnt adjust at 5,000rpm, if it isnt adjusting at all (even at 1800) then its going to run out of steam high up the revs (ie over 5k) so id be looking at the dephaser
