    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Happy days mate! Where are you getting the mesh from? Ebay? Im thinking of doing mine again with proper black anodised mesh rather than my painted ones and making the mesh more towards the bumper so its a tad more visible

Sorry @Louis' I didnt see this reply until now! Yes i believe i have, but it was a while ago now and i cant fully remember. Next time i take the bumper off, i'll double check for you as that pic above is a bit crap. Yeah i did the meshed bass port ducts last year. Always liked the look of the...

    Mixed colours

Thank you for the positive comments chaps. I'm no pro. In fact i only got the camera over xmas but I've been enjoying using it. At certain angles the 200t/220t can be hard to photograph but im happy with them :) Was nice that there was no same colours and every car had different specs, etc.

Not sure why, but I thought this one captured the RB well  The 200t's are certainly a grower and are a very nice car indeed. Driving onto the empty estate we all had a little boot and Richards mapped LY certainly picked up well

    2005 RB 182 Cup

Nice updates bud. Wheels will look good too. Also, RB dash strips will look "too much". Stick to a nice sutble colour. I have done mine Peugeot metallic graphite and it looks oem I think.

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

I preference it modified :( On a slightly different note, what filters did you use when you took those last bulk pics? I noticed the pics are shadowy in the corners.

Ktr/V-Max. Opinions of those who have driven on them.

I had vmaxx on the BG for 2 yrs with no issues apart from a leaking rear which was after a year or so. I used standard rear shocks but kept the rest on. I found it ok. I did compare them to gaz (met up with a friend and we did one quick drive in both cars in a 20min window) and the gaz's drove...

    MrBlonde's 172 cup

Like others have said Steve, a nice surround would finish that off. Even if it's glued on. Looks great though mate and a bonus of no drone. Tbf, £60 for materials and labour isn't bad.

The Fatty's KTEC alternative induction setup that works just as well!

People have done a straight pipe off the throttle body to the filter before, but the battery has to be relocated to do so.

@Rojer I cut the silicone pipe with a angle grinder but used a 1mm cutting disc as i can do it neater than with a blade.

Nearside outer CV Boot wtf.... 182 ff

Another option is a J&R shaft. Comes with the CV joint/boot already connected. I bought one for my passenger side and it was plug and play and has been fine. £50 delivered too. Myself, @imprezaworks and @Chris_Beer have them and none of us are dead yet.
