    oh and I've swapped stereo out for a an alpine with parrot for hands free phone and ipod connector on it too. plus added and upgraded speakers and popped a small under seat sub in.

    @frayz its all personal preference at the end of the day, there is no right or wrong answer. But my experience has seen me go too far (i have a dedicated track car anyway for the vibrationy goodness if i feel the need) and as such reign it back in again for just a usable, easily and cheaply...

    disagree, trendlines i find for my body shape provide loads more lumbar and lateral support over standard seats. i have just come back from a weekend in Scotland too, 700 miles total in 10 hours of driving.....fresh as a daisy at the end of it.

    My daily is a 182 FF and after 7 years its about perfect for my use as just a road car (its done one trackday under my ownership and was still very capable). I've gone too far with it a couple of times and ended up going back to more standard spec to make it better for just cranking the daily...

    Can't really test compression without knowing timing is good as bad timing leads to poor compression, hence low power

    If it smells vaguely hot burning oily its likely to be a leak from the vvt solenoid seal which can work it's way onto exhaust manifold area
