Well after 1000 miles all i can say is wow!
These are cheap as chips but offer road performance that is staggering.
Even in the torential downpours we have had i had no problems.

What do i start with kit wise.
Prof detailer reckons G220 or Kestrel rotary depending on how brave?
What pads 3m etc 4 & 6 inch etc.
Got waxes but which polish etc, been told lime prime would do all i need it to.
Remember your test flight & your face after my demonstration round my local track in the Trophy?
The 197 is more fun & more planted down the same route;)

Important Notice: Kumho Ecsta V700 tires must be shaved to 3/32" - 4/32" tread depth for any autocross or track use in the dry.
Kumho advises that the Ecsta V700 DOT-legal competition radial must be shaved prior to use in dry conditions. If this tire is not shaved...
Had 172 for 2yrs then Trophy for 3yrs.
Now have 197 Cup, not as raw as the trophy but miles better overall.
Uprated Trophy brakes melt well before the 197's standards but it has the same brake setup as R26 & thats way heavier;)
My neighbours had White Details.co.uk over to do his Leon yesterday.
Got talking to him as he did my Trophy ages ago.
He uses the Kestral rotary & the results & speed were stunning, is the £70 price correct as thats well cheapo?
