mine is standard engine wise apart from airbox and filer mods which hardly make a difference and has about 80bhp after 130,000 miles of running in lol
best way to make them fast is lose weight, and stick loads of miles on it hammering its c**t in. REMEMBER 5,000-8,000 mile oil and filter...
no hastle involved with conversion, will be done in a weekend once all the parts are here
exterior is nearly finished just waiting on the carzone bodykit and my 18's coming..... NOT lol
getting colourcoded, light tints, xenons and thats it finished exterior wise
ICE is all here and fitted...
conversion kit is £995+Vat, or was when i last checked in november!
£580 for exhaust
£230 for viper
god knows how much for cams, headwork and remap! will get engine in with exhaust and filter fited first then once its all running think about more power.
only reason its getting 1.6...
cheers for the comments guys, spent an absolute fortune on it replacing nearly everything thats wear and tear etc so far its had....
new gearbox
new clutch with clutch cable
new wheel bearings all round
new rear brakes
uprated front brakes (black diamond disks with ebc green stuff pads)

yep wing mirrors are the only difference, has full interior, spoiler, wheel, fogs, and got a set of colourcoded wing mirror caps coming for it lol.
well actually it doesnt have the dials with trip computer, auto wipers, or auto lights but they're just annoying ;)
other exterior mods are...
Gave her a quick wash, never had time to polish, wax or apply any trim or tyre dressing!
possibly the last pics of the car with the 1.2 16v in it as the waterpump gave up today and pissed out all the coolant, so just need to wait till feburary to start my conversion :)
just go for a 1.6 16v clio mate, 1.8 corsa will be faster straight line but handle pish compaired to the clio! so to be fair on the right road the clio would be faster in my opinion
nice car mate, keep they wheels they suit the car the best in my opinion, get a set of 195/50 or 195/45 tyres on it and if you've only changed the springs do the dampers too, will be a go kart and handle brilliant.
colours cyclone blue matey, nice colour especially when detailed
dont bother...
true but the gearbox mount wears out very fast on them, ive been through 2 already (well bushes not actual mount) im still on the origional top mounts after 130k and they still arnt showing any signs of wear yet
lol i read the lexus lights comment in your first post and just thought "here we go, poor boy" lol
anyway.... lexus lights spoil the look of the car taking a nice looking car and turning it cheap and tacky, same goes for silver wiper blades and silly silver ariels!
lower it on the wheels its...
suspension set up standard on them is good but no where near as good as aftermarket stuff, well some aftermarket stuff, stick a set of 60mm springs on it and likely it wont be any better but do it properly and it will.
nice car though but only 1 thing is get the sport badge to fuk!
Welcome always nice to see more scottish people on here, get yourself along to the next meet if you fancy a laugh!
how much is it lowered by and what suspension is it on?
id loose the induction kit though, will be lossing you power
if you can afford it go for FK Coilovers.
if you cant or dont want to spend the money go for Apex -60mm thats what im using and many others on here.
going for FK Konigsports next tho (the adjustable ones, not the fixed damping highsports)
my 1.2 clutch was £60+ vat (got it for £40+vat with discount from renault parts guy)
one thing id recommend is a new clutch cable £30 or something and that made the clutch pedal so light it was unbeleiveable! and also got rid of the creaky squeek noise i had when pressing the clutch
are you...
ive got a halfords calcium one with a 4 years warranty, cost me £50 or something but deffo worth it car starts really quickly and my 5 channel amp + uprated speakers sound twice as good as they did on the dying renault battery!
